The Database is now available in electronic form, using Access and Excel. In
Access, the user selects four parameters (exporting country, importing country,
years and product) and the report is displayed as a Pivot Table in Excel. The
four parameters can be manipulated within the Pivot Table to show data in a
variety of combinations without having to return to Access. Coverage has been
expanded to include exports of refined copper. Along with copper and copper
alloy semi-manufactures.
The 2007 Database covers the period 2002 to 2007 and data availability can be checked by country and by year. The export data for all countries are based upon the Harmonised System of Tariff Codes. The Tariff Code definitions for each semis type are given in the database menu together with data coverage. Click here to see current coverage (pdf).

This edition gives each facility's annual production capacity, in tonnes, for 2002 to 2011. Wherever possible individual production figures are given. Accompanying the tables is a set of notes with additional comments. Please note that the 'Capacity Survey' is available to companies in the copper industry on the Website as a series of downloadable files. |
