Our Structure

The International Wrought Copper Council (IWCC) is the international association for the copper and copper-alloy fabricating industry. Our work is determined by our Members and the needs of the industry.
The IWCC is governed by our Members in the annual General Assembly. During the year the IWCC’s work is run by the Executive Board and by specialist Committees, supported by a dedicated staff team.

IWCC Chair and Board of Directors
The Executive Board manages the affairs of the IWCC and is responsible for policy making and direction. The Chair and officers of the IWCC are elected by members from the copper industry.

General Assembly
The General Assembly is in effect the Annual General Meeting of the IWCC.
It is the body which sanctions the IWCC’s annual work plans and financial papers in accordance with the Articles of Association. The General Assembly is open to all IWCC Members.
In 2020 the formal business of the General Assembly took place remotely via email exchange with the IWCC’s membership.
