A total of 85 participants from 81 companies and organisations from countries over the globe in Asia, North America, Europe, and South Africa met in Vietnam, from 1st March to 5th March to attend this Technical Seminar. The eighteen expert speakers focused on Innovation from process, to materials, products and in policy and business.
Plant visits included Jintian Copper site on copper tube and wire rod nearby Ho Chi Minh on 2nd March, and Bedra site on brass rod nearby Hanoi on 5th March with show case and questions and answers.
Two days seminar on 3rd and 4th March took place in Hanoi at the Pan Pacific where delegates could exchange views on Innovation in:
- Advanced Manufacturing Technologies and Digital Transformation
- Material Science and Alloys
- Lead free products
- Product Design and Custom Fabrication, new products
- Sustainability and Green Innovation
A panel discussion was organised to close the event to reflect the delegates side and more personal views on the semi-fabricator industry future and by region from challenges to opportunities, and the attractiveness of the sector for future generations.
